Journey to the Edge of Space

Fly literally to the edge of space, rocketing at more than twice the speed of sound to an altitude of almost 80,000 feet above the Earth. From this height, you'll be above 99% of our planet's atmosphere. Even during the day, you'll see a black sky above you and the curvature of the Earth will be visible. On this adventure, we will seat you inside the cockpit of our MiG-25 supersonic fighter jet, the highest and fastest flying jet in Russia's Air Force. Originally built by the Soviet Union to intercept the United States' legendary SR-71 Blackbird, the MiG-25 is a high altitude interceptor. It holds several records for speed and climb to altitude.

Your hosts are the greatest Russian test pilots, some of the most experienced aviators in the world, all of whom speak English and will guide you through this adventure step by step.

Commander Alexander Garnaev is one of the elite Russian fighter pilots who will join you during your unforgettable flight experience. He was recently awarded the Hero of Russia Medal, the country's highest military honor, by Russian President Boris Yeltsin at a January 1998 ceremony.

Zhukovsky Air Base

This dream adventure is conducted at the formerly top secret Zhukovsky Air Base, located one hour outside Moscow. Zhukovsky is the heart of Russian aviation and the testing grounds for all of Russia's newest aircraft. Your ticket to the edge of space, the MiG-25 "Foxbat", will be awaiting you.

While at Zhukovsky, you will visit the Gromov Flight Research Institute, one of Russia's largest centers for aviation science research and testing. The Institute has unique facilities equipped with modern landing, air traffic, and flight experiment control systems.
